The Challenge

After their series A round of funding, Copado was looking to increase demand for their DevOps software. They planned to attend Salesforce Dreamforce, as well as host multiple other events and webinars to generate awareness of their Salesforce solution.

As a young company entering a new stage of growth, Copado did not have a full in-house marketing operations team to execute the go-to-market initiatives they had planned. The organization needed someone with website design expertise, along with a Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) administrator to help them build email campaigns and landing pages.

The Solution

Copado hired EBQ to help with web design, development, and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) email automation administration. EBQ’s Web Design Specialist helped Copado’s in-house brand manager and webmaster stand up their new website, taking ownership of the design and UX responsibilities.

On the email marketing side, EBQ’s Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) Specialist helped Copado set up engagement programs for pre-event trade show campaigns and webinars. The EBQ Specialist built out automated campaigns for Copado and created landing pages to drive conversions for the events. EBQ’s Specialist also helped with maintaining the RSVP list and segmentation of Copado’s database for the upcoming events.

Aside from event-focused campaigns, the outsourced Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) administrator assisted Copado’s Product Marketing Manager with several other customer campaigns, including their newsletter and product update emails.

EBQ’s Marketing Specialists also provided SEO and SEM guidance in addition to another agency Copado used for search marketing. EBQ’s extensive marketing knowledge was a “great consultive, reliable resource” for setting up other types of campaigns too.

The Results

Copado launched their new redesigned website and successfully executed Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) email marketing campaigns for their upcoming events and webinars.
